You can get married either in one of the indoor gardens, or the outdoor gardens, which are a perfect oasis of garden aesthetics while still having the urban city vibe around. Hotels and food are extremely close to this location making it easy to host family and friends from out of town, and keep everything in one space around the venue. Foellinger-Freimann offers a variety of caterers, and also a massive white tent if you want to get married in the outdoor gardens while avoiding rain. All rentals include tables, chairs, guest parking, and garden admission as well. The Homestead High School Environmental Center is a stunning nature center behind Homestead High School. This park features 23 acres of greenery, a massive pond with a fountain, gorgeous sunken gardens surrounded by over 150 varieties of roses, and a stunning white pergola. There are also two small covered pavilions on the property that can be rented out for intimate weddings and elopements. Defries Gardens
Defries Gardens are nestled in the River Preserve County Park, just outside New Paris, Indiana, and is perfect for an intimate garden wedding or elopement. This 13-acre site was once a private homestead and hosts a 1880s Victorian-style home surrounded by perennial gardens and woodland plantings, a gorgeous greenhouse, and the Defries Homestead which can be rented out for weddings and elopements. The reservable lower level of the Homestead features a restroom, a modern kitchen, a cheerful sunroom with an electric fireplace, and panoramic views of the gardens. These gardens also feature the four-season Calendar Garden, a one-acre showpiece that is a massive, circular, flowering calendar. Its design features the solstices and equinoxes with unique structures marking each. Native plantings follow the seasons throughout the year as well, and a 365-foot circular path marks each day as it leads visitors through seasons of bloom! The front yard can be rented out for micro weddings and elopements as well.

The Potawatomi Conservatories are a set of three indoor conservatories and botanical gardens within Potawatomi Park, with lush greenery, a desert biome, and plenty of space for an intimate wedding and reception. This is a full event venue, that also is a full time berry farm situated out in the country next to a large lake! There is a beautiful indoor / outdoor, covered, pergola style, pavilion with a ton of retractable windows for natural light, and gorgeous spaces throughout the property for scenic photos. There is space for a ceremony outdoors or indoors in case of bad weather, and twinkle lights as well! Tables, chairs, linens, and a place to get ready are also included in rental. There is a covered pavilion, an indoor great hall, and event garden with a white tent and tables and chairs available for rental as well.

Gabis Arboretum at Purdue Northwest is a 300 acre nature preserve with the largest collection of massive oak trees in Indiana. You can get married anywhere on the property, and can have a reception outdoors surrounded by candles, or under a white tent in case of rain, and tables and chairs are provided as well! Meyer’s Castle
Meyer’s Castle is a gorgeous, historic, Jacobethan style castle situated just 35 minutes outside Chicago in Dyer, Indiana. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with 16+ acres of rolling gardens, native plants and trees, a veranda, a gazebo, and over 43 rooms within the castle itself. You have several options for where you can have a ceremony throughout the property, and this venue is so versatile in that you can have a massive 300+ person wedding in a ballroom, or a 30 person affair. They also offer a ton of extras, like outdoor chandeliers, linins, napkins, draping, tables and chairs, a horse and carriage, throne chairs, an in house florist and coordinator, designer, and more. Willow Acres is a beautiful wedding venue on 10 acres of land, just 25 minutes from downtown Muncie and 50 minutes from Indianapolis. There are two cute cabins for getting ready, a wooden deck and pergola for outdoor ceremonies, and white tents for receptions. A gorgeous permanent indoor hall is coming soon too! There is also the wedding wall, A tunnel walkway with whimsical fairy lights and blooming florals, where all past couples have a custom plaque of their name and wedding date on a piece of hardwood from the property. Chairs and tables are included, as well as set up for all furniture and add-ons. This venue is amazing for an intimate wedding, elopement, or full traditional wedding with all the whimsical secret garden vibes!

Mustard Seed Gardens
Mustard Gardens originally started off as a homestead in the 1800s, but was converted to an intimate wedding venue in 2011. This venue is absolutely perfect for a wedding with a garden vibe, with a farmhouse for getting ready, a barn for indoor receptions, an outdoor brick fireplace and space for cocktail hour, and a gorgeous outdoor space in the yard in front of an old maple tree for an outdoor ceremony with string lights. There are tons of gorgeous flowers and trees, and plenty of spots for scenic photos. There is also the Gable, a greenhouse space coming soon to this property too!

The Ambassador House & Heritage Gardens
Nestled among lush native trees and beautiful florals, the Historic Ambassador House and Heritage Gardens is the perfect spot for your garden inspired wedding! This venue is rich in both history and charm, with a Greek Revival style home that doubles as a getting ready space, gorgeous private gardens with a pergola for ceremonies, a European style terrace for cocktail hour, and plenty of space and spots throughout the property for stunning garden photos. Traders Point Creamery
Truly one of my favorite venues outside of Indy, Traders Point Creamery is a family owned dairy farm, restaurant, and wedding venue. This sprawling 150 acre property has a massive variety of options and spaces for your wedding! There is the Roost, a private room with an open air balcony overlooking the farm, and also the Beach Porch, a covered deck overlooking a gorgeous pond with lily pads, and the pastures of cows and horses, both perfect for intimate weddings and elopements. Then there is also the Garden Lawn and Deck, a beautiful outdoor space overlooking a blooming garden for your ceremony, and a gorgeous tree shaded deck outdoors, with walkways through beautiful floral landscapes and string lights for an outdoor reception. Finally there is the Red Barn, an 1870s restored barn that is available year round. This venue also specializes in farm to table catering and food, which is incredible. This venue is extremely versatile and is a fantastic Indiana garden wedding venue!

The Fowler House
Fowler House is an absolutely gorgeous historic mansion with gothic architecture nestled in downtown West Lafayette. This venue offers both indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies and receptions, and is perfect a wedding or elopement if you want gothic, English Tudor vibes while still being within the city. There is space for getting ready and catering, and also includes tables and chairs, a sound system, uplighting, black and white linens, and an hour for rehearsal the week of your wedding as well.
