The sun was barely peeking over the horizon and the forest was peaceful and quiet when I met up with Krista and Nick for their Brown County Indiana wedding. They decided a sunrise first look would be an intimate and nice way to start their day, and Nick’s reaction to seeing Krista was absolutely everything. After the first look the sun started rising over the trees, giving us the most beautiful golden hour sunrise light, so we took couples photos with the rolling hills of Brown County State Park in the background. We then headed over to Ogle Lake for more couple photos while we still had golden hour. Guests started to trickle in, and we knocked out family and group photos first thing while at Ogle Lake so the rest of the time could be spent hanging out with everyone and relaxing. Once group photos wrapped up, beer and wine was cracked open and everyone toasted to Krista and Nick in celebration.
After hanging out and sharing toasts with loved ones, everyone began heading back to the cars so we could then make our way over to downtown Nashville, Indiana for their wedding ceremony at the Brown County Barn Burner. Since the weather was so nice, they had the ceremony on the patio and from start to finish there was not a single dry eye in the crowd. Krista and Nick exchanged vows, rings, and sealed their marriage with an incredible first kiss and dip, before signing the marriage license and hanging out with friends and family. The rest of the afternoon was spent exploring Nashville and all the fall festival activities going on, chatting, and eating great food with great people before the official reception started, wrapping up a beautiful end to Krista and Nick’s Brown County Indiana wedding.
