It was the most perfect afternoon for a Sedona elopement. The wind playfully tickled our necks and the sun smiled down as we made our way through the red rock trails. After a sweet first look these two shared vows overlooking Sedona and the iconic Bell Rock. After shooting for a while we headed to a different trailhead near Thunder Mountain.
As we hiked our way up the mountains, the soft Arizona light beamed past the red peaks, creating a golden haze. These two laughed and ran hand in hand through the red dust without a care in the world, only love for each other. We reached an overlook and unpacked for a picnic as the sun dipped below the horizon. Glazia and Brady shared the cutest (and most delicious!) charcuterie snack boxes and local beer while watching the color of the mountains change with the fading light, soaking up every moment with each other.
And what’s an elopement without popping champagne? These two had so much fun popping a mini champagne bottle together. And as the stars crept out we had to do some headlamp and star photos. It was truly breathtaking, seeing so many stars and the few lights of the city hidden in between the ink black hills. We wrapped up and then carefully made our way down the mountainside with headlamps and flashlights, before finally parting ways. I am so thankful to have been a part of this gorgeous Sedona elopement, and I cannot wait for the next time I’ll shoot here!
