It was a beautiful evening with clouds blocking the intense heat and sun when I met Christina & Michael for their Fort Wayne engagement session at Lakeside Park and Foster Park. We started at Lakeside while we still had decent light, and though it was busy with grad sessions, it quickly cleared out leaving us so much space to explore and get creative with photos. The rose bushes and wildflowers were in peak full bloom, giving us great colors to pop in the background. These two are the absolute cutest, dancing together and laughing or chasing each other giggling through the rows of flowers.
As the light started to fade we headed over to Foster Park for the second half of their session. Foster Park was much less busy, and the flowers and trees smelled so fresh as we explored the area and took photos together. As blue hour quickly approached, we decided to take photos next to a beautiful lamp post in the middle of the gardens, and got such gorgeous shots of these two and the orange glow of light. With sunlight almost completely gone, we took a few more shots and then called it, ending the evening with the melody of crickets and birdsong following us to our cars.
Christina and Michael, you two were so easy to photograph and fun to work with! It was a blast capturing the love you share with each other and it was such a gorgeous Fort Wayne engagement session. I am so freaking excited for the wedding and documenting you two more next spring!
