It was a perfect October evening for this Muncie fall engagement session with Michaela and Jay. I met them at a trailhead near their house, and we were blessed with the most incredible golden hour. Amid the chaos of COVID and the state of the world, it was wonderful for these two to spend an evening laughing and snuggling with each other and take a step back from everything else. The natural chemistry between these two was amazing to capture, they moved together so well, as if the camera wasn’t even there. We shot in a nearby golden field and along the looping trails, without another soul in sight.
I met Michaela before they got engaged, and it was so sweet to see their relationship evolve and deepen over time. Jay proposed to Michaela on the Fourth of July under the fireworks, something that holds a new and special meaning to their hearts. They’ve persevered through so much together, especially planning a wedding during COVID times, which is no easy feat. It’s so apparent that these two souls were made for one another, and I am so excited to document their wedding in September later this year!
Michaela and Jay’s Muncie fall engagement session was so beautiful and fun, with sweet music and lots of laughter amongst the wildflowers. As the sun sank behind the trees we even captured blue hour photos with the full moon behind them. Now on to their sweet September wedding next fall!
