Autumn Turkey Run Elopement

It was a perfect fall day for Sirenna and Victor’s October Turkey Run Elopement. Though the weather predicted 40 degrees and raining, we ended up having a beautifully sunny, 70 degree day! After meeting at the Turkey Run Inn, we made our way down the trail to the suspension bridge over Sugar Creek.

With the warm sun on our faces and the autumn foliage showing off her brilliant colors, Sirenna and Victor exchanged their vows. Happy tears and laughter were shared as Sirenna’s sister officiated.

After their intimate ceremony, we headed across the suspension bridge and hiked through the golden woods, taking in the fresh air and falling leaves. We explored the Ice Box, shared chocolate chip cookies, and refreshed on water as they relaxed. We then continued down the trail to reach Bear Hollow, a stunning rock canyon deep in the woods. There we took stunning portraits with falling leaves, and took in the beauty of the canyon in fall.

As the sun dipped below the horizon we made our way back to the trailhead, and then drove over to a private campsite that felt like a magical autumn wood, all gold and peaceful. Sirenna set up their cake to cut as Victor started a campfire, and they shared their first cake cutting and dessert in the calm of the autumn woods without another soul in sight. As the night crept up on us we ended the evening with portraits chilling by the bonfire, and some fun foggy headlight photos as well. It was the perfect end to their peaceful autumn Turkey Run elopement, and our hearts were full as we all packed up our cars to leave.

Sirenna + Victor, thank you so much for choosing me and trusting me to document your special day! We couldn’t have had a better day and weather, and I’m wishing you both all the love and laughter in your marriage. <3

xoxo, Corinne
